Mt Longonot hiking from Nairobi starts at 7:00am in the morning and gets to the park by 8:30am to start the climb. It is a medium difficulty climb and does not require a lot of fitness to tackle. The climb lasts for about 4-5hrs to make it to the crater and back. The view into the crater is worth every effort you make to get there.
